Offset Printing

Offset printing is produced by firstly creating a plate. This plate is then loaded onto a Lithographic Press. The ink from the plate is transferred to what is called a 'blanket' and then from the blanket onto the paper with the combination of water. That is why it is called 'offset'. Basically, water and oil (the ink) do not mix and is the basis of all offset printing.
